Under the Income Tax Act almost all forms of business enterprises are required to report income and expenses based on the accrual method of accounting ie an invoice you send to a client becomes income when you bill it not when you receive payment; similarly expenses are recognized based on the vendor's billing date not when you actually pay the account.

In the event that Industry Canada does not approve the proposed name and you choose not to submit an alternative name we will refund all fees paid less $99.95 plus GST to cover our time submitting the application.  Please note that it may take up to 30 days for Industry Canada to refund the filing fee when an application is withdrawn.
